School Fees 2025 - Cambridge Matric Phase

* IGSE and IGSE / AS LEVELS Excludes external Cambridge registration and exam fees

  • *IGCSE Level – International General Certificate of Secondary Education
  • *AS Level – Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Level
  • *FINALS – Those students who have 2 or less subjects to complete their qualification

Starting at the IGCSE level can potentially save students one year of schooling.

NB – The monthly School Fees are column A. You will be invoiced that amount – If payment is made on or before the 3rd of each month and it reflects in the school bank account by no later then the 4rd of each month, then the R 300 will be discounted.

If it reflects only on the 5th of the month, unfortunately, it will be too late for the discount.

NOTE: 

  • SCHOOL FEES DO NOT INCLUDE RESOURCES, TEXT BOOKS OR WORK BOOKS.
  • Extra learning material, school projects, art supplies, stationery and school outings etc. are not included in school fees.
  • Students are required to wear the compulsory school uniform, in the correct dress code at all times.
  • Computer Studies – Are subject to an additional fee.
  • Cambridge registration and examination fees per subject are not included and will be advised as soon as we receive them from the British Council. 
  • Academic assessment and /or an Entrance exam may be requested.

School Fee Options

 School fees are payable in advance – Preferably by either debit order or Internet Transfer (EFT).

 It is fairly assumed that should you enroll your child, you are able to afford all the fees. This also forms part of the admission requirements and enrolment contract. No exceptions are made.

 A. By the 1st of each month, over 12 months:  Jan – Dec (included).

 B. Discounted offer – no later than the 3rd of the month.

 C. Per term payment (3 terms) on the first day of the new term – Discounted.

 D. A once off payment by the 5th of January of the new year – Annual fee – Discounted.

Siblings – School Fees

The first child (highest grade) per family pays the full amount. – The 1st younger sibling will get a 5 % discount and a 2nd younger sibling will get a 7.5% discount. These discounts are not applicable to the already discounted Term and Annual Fees.                                                                                               

Registration Fee

A once-off registration fee will be charged per new student: R 2 000.00 (Non – refundable)

Early registration, on or before the 20 December 2024 – R 1 500.00 (Non – refundable). Any registration on or after the 15 January 2025 will be R 3000.00 (Non – refundable). Non Refundable Deposit of R500 per student, must be paid within 3 days after acceptance of student’s application, to reserve the students place. This deposit will be credited towards the registration fee. If the student does not enrol thereafter, the deposit is non – refundable.

 Annual Fee – Due 1 January 2025 – New and current students:

An annual fee of R900-00 will be charged per child. (Non–refundable) This is payable with January school fees every year.

Outstanding Monies

School fees are to be kept up to date at all times.

The prescribed monthly interest of 10.3% will be charged on outstanding fees. Unpaid and short paid school fees, not up to date by the 5th of the month will immediately be subject to a 5 % penalty fee.  

Excelsior does not follow up on arrear accounts – This is outsourced to our Attorneys.

If/when the school fee account is in arrears, collection and or legal action will automatically proceed and the services of Excelsior shall be immediately suspended to students, until such time the account is up to date or a written agreement/plan is in place with the Attorneys, to rectify such account. The full legal cost, including commission thereof, will be for your account. Outstanding fee collection charges as stated in the Enrolment Contract, under General – point (9.7). Should you not adhere to these conditions; your contract will be cancelled immediately.

CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT

Either party may give notice of cancellation of this agreement to the other party by means of 1 (one) full term or 3 (Three) calendar months) written notice, to the other party; i.e. – effective as from the 1st of any given month – no exceptions will be made.

Tuck Shop

Snacks, chips, sweets and cooldrinks are available at 1st break only. Items sourced from reputable retailers only.

Transport

We offer a transport service – mornings and afternoons – limited space. Based on a first come first served basis and also depending on the route and area.
